What is CBD?

There are 85 compounds unique to the cannabis plant called cannabinoids, the two most prominent being CBD, the non-psychoactive cannabinoid found primarily in hemp, and THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid found primarily in marijuana that produces the feeling of being high.

THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM

Both CBD and THC react with cannabinoid receptors found in the human body and brain, called the endocannabinoid system. When CBD bonds with the body’s receptors, it helps maintain vital health functions and brings balance to the body.
